Our Mission

Here's the deal, Remedy Church cares about two things more than anything else, Jesus and people. It's that simple. Our mission is simply to Reveal Jesus through practical Bible teaching, Restore Hope in humanity through generosity and authentic relationships, and Release Leaders by helping people find their calling and passions for serving the world.

Our History

Remedy Church was founded in 2012 by our lead pastors, Josh & Jessica Burton. Our very first public service was held on October 7, 2012 at the MRH High School auditorium. Our first 6 years we were considered a "mobile church", meaning we didn't have our own permanent building where we held services. We gathered each week at the high school auditorium for our Sunday service. Our volunteer team would set up/tear down each week, year after year, for 6 years. Was it hard work? Yes. Did we get tired and want to give up at times? Yes. But honestly, it has made us who we are today. We wouldn't trade it for anything. We learned to work hard, worship passionately, love deeply, and even learned how to laugh and enjoy the process.

In July of 2018, we were blessed to purchase the building at our current location. After several months of remodeling, we hosted our grand opening in December of 2018. Even though we have a permanent building now, we still consider ourselves a "mobile church". Why? Because the church is not a building; its a people. And we will continue our work to "mobilize" people to go out and change the world.

Our Vision

To build a multi-ethnic & multi-generational church that brings reconciliation to the city of St. Louis through the gospel of grace.
